Best Methods for Cooking Vegetables?

What are some of the best ways to cook vegetables while preserving their flavor and nutrients? With so many cooking methods out there, it can be overwhelming to choose the right one.

Steaming, roasting, sautéing, and blanching each offer unique benefits, but which one holds up best for different types of veggies? For instance, do root vegetables taste better roasted, or is steaming a healthier option?

I’d love to hear your experiences. What methods have you found most effective for different vegetables? Any tips or tricks you swear by?

Roasting is definitely my go-to for root veggies; it brings out their sweetness in a way steaming can’t. I also find that quick sautéing with garlic really amps up the flavor for greens like spinach or kale. Can’t go wrong with a little olive oil and some seasoning!
