Tips for Cooking with Leftovers

Leftovers can sometimes be a challenge, but they can also be a great opportunity to get creative in the kitchen. What are your favorite ways to transform last night’s dinner into something new and exciting?

One popular technique is to turn leftover roasted vegetables into a hearty soup or stir-fry. Adding a few spices or fresh herbs can really enhance the flavors. Another idea is to repurpose leftover meat into tacos or sandwiches, making for a quick and satisfying meal.

One of my go-tos is making a breakfast hash with leftover veggies and meats. Just toss everything in a skillet with some eggs and maybe a little cheese if you have it—super easy and filling! Also, turning leftover pasta into a pasta salad with some fresh veggies and dressing is a win, too. Keeps things fresh and no extra cooking needed!

I love using leftover rice to make fried rice with whatever veggies and proteins I have on hand. It’s super easy and always tastes better the next day! A splash of soy sauce and some green onions can really take it up a notch too. What do you do with leftover pasta?
