Using Baking Soda to Combat Powdery Mildew in Gardens

As a home cook who loves experimenting, I’ve found that baking soda is useful for more than just baking. Recently, I learned that it can also help tackle powdery mildew, a common issue for gardeners. I wanted to share my experience in case it benefits other food enthusiasts who also enjoy gardening.

To test this out, I combined one tablespoon of baking soda with a gallon of water and added a few drops of dish soap to help it adhere to the leaves. I sprayed this solution on my affected plants weekly, and I was pleasantly surprised by the results; it significantly reduced the mildew! This method is gentle on the plants and much more affordable than many commercial fungicides.

Has anyone else tried using baking soda for powdery mildew? What natural remedies have worked for you? I’m eager to hear your tips and experiences with keeping your garden thriving!
