What's the Best Way to Prepare Quinoa for Salads?

I’ve been trying to incorporate more quinoa into my meals, especially salads, but I’m not quite sure of the best way to prepare it. I’ve seen various methods online, but I want to know what works best for a fluffy texture and great taste.

Rinsing quinoa is a must to get rid of that bitter coating, so don’t skip it! For cooking, I usually go 2 parts water to 1 part quinoa and let it simmer until it’s fluffy. As for flavor, adding a splash of lemon juice and some garlic powder really elevates it. Toss in some diced veggies like bell peppers and cucumbers, and you’ve got a solid salad!
